Medical assistants are essential members of our healthcare team at MedDoc Center. They play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics and the delivery of high-quality patient care. With a blend of clinical and administrative skills, our medical assistants support both our healthcare providers and our patients.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Clinical Support: Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures. This includes taking patient histories, measuring vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections, and preparing patients for exams.
• Administrative Duties: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, handle billing and coding for insurance purposes, and perform other clerical tasks to ensure the clinic operates efficiently.
• Patient Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for patients, providing information, answering questions, and ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
• Laboratory Work: Perform basic lab tests, prepare specimens for analysis, and maintain lab equipment.
• Medication Administration: Assist with the administration of medications as directed by a physician or nurse, ensuring proper dosage and patient safety.
• Coordination of Care: Help coordinate patient care by scheduling follow-up appointments, arranging referrals to specialists, and providing patients with instructions for at-home care.
